Setting up your organisation

In this video we will set up your organisation, so everything you send looks and sounds like you. Open Settings, then Organisation. Here you set your organisation's name and city, and what you call your credits: CPD, CME, CE, or your own word. Further down is your privacy notice. Use the standard one, link to your own, or write it here. When you have made changes, press Save changes at the bottom.

Next, Branding. Upload your logo, with optional versions for light and dark backgrounds, and choose your organisation colour. On the right you can see how it looks in the member area and on the emails you send, before anyone else does.

Under Emails you will find every email the platform sends for you, grouped by area: joining and membership, dues, events and tickets, speakers and more. Leave one alone and ours goes out. Open one to write it in your own words, using short codes like the member's first name, and send yourself a test. The Sender and Your domain tabs let you choose who your mail comes from and where replies go.

Now Team. This is everybody who can sign in and run things with you. There are four levels. Owners and Administrators reach everything, including settings. Staff reach every area except settings. And Selected areas is for people who should only see part of the workspace, like volunteers, contractors, or your AV team.

Press Invite somebody, add their name and email, and choose their level. For Staff or Selected areas, tick the areas they can reach. Then press Send the invitation. They get an email with a link to set their own password, so nobody ever has to share one. That is your organisation set up. Next, let us create an event.
